This pale ale pours a hefty fluffy head of that retains really well, and leaves a minimal fine lace that sticks in small patches.
The aroma is characteristic of my favorite C-hops dominated by grapefruit. Very floral, fresh, and grassy too. There’s a pale malt grain quality to top it off. Not bad!
The flavor is super clean, very fresh hop flavors. The intro is mellow and grainy, with a mildly sweet pale malt up front. Then comes a fruity quality that merges with the citric hops to finish crisp and lightly bitter. The aftertaste is sugary, and hop oils bring out a semi-dry conclusion. Centered, well rounded, and very smooth. The simplicity of this beer doesn’t require much dissection.
This is a very good pale ale. Though somewhat subdued, the flavors are excellent in their pure and simple approach. The drinkability is great, and I could easily drink several. Recommended.
